Ah, travel
The Virgin Blue lounge is terribly civilised. Considering my flight to Brisbane is only at 10:15am and I arrived at the airport at 8am, there is no better way to spend the two-odd hours in between. Far more comfortable than squatting at the gate lounge. The WiFi is acceptably fast too.
However, the coffee sucks. Well, perhaps the barista sucks. It’s just not good.
Anyway, I’m off to Brisbane to meet with the lovely folks at Griffith University about their new MySource Matrix infrastructure. They are an Oracle shop, and their new stuff is very, very nice. Lots of redundancy and load balancing and high availability goodness.
Tomorrow, Colin and I are building the Brisbane Asterisk server for the new Squiz office up here. Should be fun. At least it’ll confirm my documentation and give me more stuff for a potential LCA’09 tutorial.
